Term 4 - Week 9 - 2023

Principal News

Dear Families

After a week of wild weather, we have decided to postpone the Whole School Sports Day scheduled for tomorrow. We want everyone to have a good time and didn’t think battling the winds, rain and wet ground was conducive to that. Please stay tuned to Sentral for further updates on when this event will take place.

End of Term Arrangements

Time is flying by, and many families are beginning to advise us of their Christmas Holiday travel plans and intent to finish the year early. We recognise that Term 4 is an unusually long term (12.5 weeks!) and thank families for their continued support as their children become fatigued as we near the end.

To support families with planning end of year events and holidays please note the following arrangements at school.

Morning Arrival

A friendly reminder for families that school staff are not on duty until 8:45am each day. We have noticed an increase in students being dropped off as early as 8:00am, often before any staff are onsite. For safety reasons, parents should drop students off between 8:45am-8:55am each day and no earlier (unless a parent/guardian is available to supervise). Thank you for your support and understanding.

I wish everyone a safe and happy week ahead 😊

Warm regards

Carmen Britnell
Acting Principal
