Principal News

THANK YOU

Thank you to all families for supporting our Curriculum Day earlier this week. The staff made the most of the opportunity by continuing important work on our strategic goals from our Annual Implementation Plan as part of our commitment to continual improvement. Staff worked on improving the effectiveness and integration of our current evidence-based approaches to wellbeing, including positive behaviour support (School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support practices), Berry Street Model practices, ‘Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships’ program, and High Impact Wellbeing Strategies. Several staff members also took the opportunity to engage in school visits to two schools, inspiring further ideas for improving engagement, and teaching and learning strategies.

PARENT-TEACHER INTERVIEWS

Parent-teacher interviews will take place on Wednesday 26th June, giving parents/carers the chance to discuss Semester 1 reports and consider next steps for all students. Parent-teacher interview appointments will be open for booking through Sentral from 9:00am next Wednesday 12th June.

LAST CALL – SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

As you will be aware, School Council have been inviting community businesses to support the school through our sponsorship program. We have been thrilled and humbled by the response, with the local community really getting behind the school and showing their support. We will shortly be closing the opportunity, so if there are any further businesses wishing to take part, please do so by the end of next week.

REMINDER – KING’S BIRTHDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY
