Strawberry Fair is set to return November 2026!

The Wallington Strawberry Fair is a cherished annual celebration held at Wallington Primary School, nestled in the heart of Victoria’s picturesque Bellarine Peninsula. With roots stretching back over 130 years, the fair honours the region’s rich history of strawberry farming and community spirit.

More than just a school fundraiser, the Strawberry Fair has become a flagship event for the local area drawing thousands of visitors from across the Geelong and Bellarine regions each year. The day is filled with festive fun, including a wide array of fresh strawberry delights, gourmet food offerings, handcrafted artisan goods, vibrant market stalls, and engaging live entertainment. Families can enjoy an exciting range of children’s rides and activities, all in a safe and welcoming environment.

Organised and run entirely by the dedicated volunteers of the Wallington Primary School community, the event is a vital fundraising initiative. Proceeds directly support educational resources, programs, and facilities for current and future students. The fair also fosters strong connections between the school, local businesses, families, and the broader community making it a shining example of collaboration, tradition, and regional pride.

  • Fair Rides

    The adrenaline was pumping and smiles at the ready! From the Sizzler and Dodgem Cars to the Mini-Roller Coaster and Chair-o-Plane, there is always a thrill for every age!

  • Petting Zoo, Pony Rides and Puppy Yoga!

    Animal lovers, maxed out at the ultimate cuddle-fest! We met adorable farm friends at our petting zoo, enjoyed a magical pony ride, and unwound with the cutest workout ever – puppy yoga.

  • Crafty Kids Activities

    While you savoured sweet strawberry treats, the kids got creative with hands-on crafts and activities – fun for them, relaxation for you!

    And for further fun, crafty kids turned plain white into rainbow bright with T-Shirt Tie-Dye!

  • Market Stalls

    Our market lane was bursting with colour and creativity, with more stallholders than ever before! We browsed an amazing selection of over 70 local produce, handmade crafts, vintage treasures, and eco-friendly goods.

    Plus, there was plenty of food on offer, with over a dozen food trucks serving artisanal bakes and gourmet street food. Yum!

  • Entertainment

    From the first note to the final applause, our entertainment line-up kept the atmosphere buzzing. We enjoyed performances from local musicians, school groups, and community acts, with buskers bringing energy and surprise around every corner.

    It wouldn’t be the Strawberry Fair without the stars of the show! Our dedicated Wallington Primary School families and volunteers pulled out all the stops to serve up a mouth-watering array of strawberry delights. We indulged in choc-dipped strawberries, strawberries and cream, fluffy pavlovas, classic Devonshire teas, and a tempting selection of home-baked goods that showcased the sweet side of our community!
