Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Strawberry Fair is here!

With just three days to go, we are so excited about what is to come this weekend! Final preparations are ongoing, and I cannot thank you all enough for your many contributions!

Year 1s – Scone Making

Last Friday, the Year 1s were excited to learn all about scone making, in preparation for our Devonshire Teas at the Strawberry Fair. With the trusty expertise of Harper M’s grandmother, supported by her mum and dad and brother and sister, all students learned how to measure, mix, shape, cut and bake their scones – and most importantly they got to taste the scones at the end! Served best with jam and cream, it was a wonderful chance to sample just what the lucky visitors to the Devonshire Tea stand will experience this weekend at the Strawberry Fair. Thank you to the Micallef family!

Newspapers

We’re kind of a big deal! More newspaper articles this week with a couple of strawberry stars – thanks to the Social Media team who continue to work tirelessly to spread the word far and wide!!

Working Bee Last Week

Thank you so much to all the parents, students, and staff who have given their time and energy over the past weeks (and past six months!) as we prepare for the Strawberry Fair. The generosity, teamwork, and proactive goodwill on display have been nothing short of inspiring. Whether it’s cleaning, organising, sorting, baking, planting, painting, creating, or promoting - every contribution adds up and helps bring our much-loved event to life.

It’s a reminder of what makes our community special: when we work together, incredible things happen. If you haven’t yet found a way to get involved, it’s not too late - your help, no matter how small, truly makes a difference and helps create the kind of school experience we all want for our children.

Thank you again to those who continue to go above and beyond - your effort and community spirit are what make this school such a great place to belong, providing the ultimate model for our students. Together, we all share in the responsibility and the reward of building the positive, connected school community in which our children thrive.

See final Strawberry Fair Newsletter (via Compass) for more details.

No Assembly Friday 31st October

Please note there will be no assembly tomorrow as preparations will be underway in and around the hall for the Strawberry Fair.

Thank you all - see you at the Strawberry Fair!
